• What did you learn about the status of the issue you reported to SeeClickFix?
• I learned that My Status was on my Issue has been changed .
• Describe the response you got about the issue you reported.  What was the message you received?  Who sent you that message? Well I got a message from the city of oakland saying that they closed my issue . So that means that the mess has been cleaned up from off of the street .
• Describe how the 9th grade students are tracking the progress of the issue we reported using stickies and posters.  What do each posters mean?  They are tracking there progress by switching there sticky notes to the other posters after they look at there issue status on seeclickfix.
• Did you change the status of the issue you reported on a poster?  Explain why, or why not.
• Yes i changed the status of my issue on the poster because my issue has been closed so they means they fixed it .
• Did any patterns emerge on the poster about which issues are resolved, and which are not?  Explain your answer. Well I think a lot of the people are still on acknowledge and some are still on open and most are on closed .
• Do you think 9th grade students are gaining agency based on their efforts on this project?  Explain your answer.

I  do think so but im not really sure if they are .

• Well in my words resistance means that your are trying to stop things from happening in my opinion .and what i think agency means that you have solved that problem .
• In my words a social movement is when you have a group of people work together to resist an problem
• What seeclickfix does is help clean up oakland and they do that by having people send in issues and then they see it and have the people clean it up .
• I think not because why would they want to help people gain agency and resist oppression , there just doing it to prevent things happening to the people in the community . 
•   Well what i took a picture of is a picture of trash on the side walk and it was actually next door to my house and i was on my porch and decided to take a picture of it  .i took a picture of it because it was the closest thing to me and i was running out of time . 
• Well What i did is that i typed in seeclickfix then i clicked sign up then after that i gave them my location so it would be easier to find your issue , then after that i put my email address and my password ,
• I reported Illegal trash Dumping and what I did was send my issue to seeclickfix then i type the details after that i sent it to them .
• Yes they fixed my problem because it was marked as closed also it was gone when i got home the other day from school .

Well what we did was that we looked at flyers with demands and we analyzed it to get different demands and what it was really saying .

Well our class haven´t decided what our protest goals would be for may day .

Yes i think it would be successful because we have many people woking will us .

Gloria Richardson is Best known for The Cambridge Civil Rights Movement she was trying to resist the white police officers to stop racism from ending in the early 1960ś , What i mean that she was trying to get the right for black people have the right to vote .

I gave him good feedback because he put everything he needed to be in his infographic and he had all the pictures that he needed .

What kind of things do you expect another student will have to say about the infographic that you created, and your answer about reliable sources?

I feel like they would say that i need more information in my infographic and to explain myself more .

Do you think Colonization, the Encomienda System, and the African Slave trade still influence people’s lives today?

 

I think it does because people probably think its a horrible thing on what they did to the african slaves and  i feel people think its horrific on what they done to them .  Also people my still think about what had happened so yes i do think it still influences people lives .

A dominant narrative is when you are telling a story that isn’t true about someone’s perspective .

ex . a man telling a pregnant women giving birth isn’t hard .

I live in oakland california . i would describe my neighborhood crazy I would describe myself as a cool chill person .I would describe myself as a silly and loud sibling and daughter .The aspects are that i’m really selfish and that’s assigned to me .

To begin with one picture is about how black people are are ugly and it made me feel really upset because it isn’t true black people aren’t ugly they are beautiful / handsome .

Another kind of narrative is that it’s telling the real truth about black people are ugly but really they aren’t because they are not ugly they are being how they are .
